Awesomeness: Sega to open theme park in Dubai Mall!

Caught this piece of news at gamebiz, via gaming blog gemaga.com. Sega's theme park will be based on Sega's Joypolis centres [Japan] and features include an indoor roller-coaster, simulators and arcade machines. Hopefully this should be a lot better than Magic Planet. The last time I went to a good arcade was in 1992 at City 2000, does anyone remember that place? Man I loved it...

Cupcakes!

Yummy! I just made a whole lot of cupcakes, just felt in the mood for something with Coconut. So ran to the store, got some coconut powder, made the cupcakes, decorated them with Dudley, then took some pics for your viewing pleasure! Oh, and the raining stopped so that can be the occasion for the cupcakes, hehehe...

Lost scraps of another state of mind

I tend to fill up notebooks with random stuff, i.e. notes on design work, plans, doodles and etc. Today while going through one of my old notebooks I found a cool [very] short poem I wrote perhaps sometime in 2007 [I think around September]. Thought I would share it here. Mind you my poetry tends to run a bit on the melancholic side, I don't really write much anymore, cause who wants to dwell in there own puddle of sadness? Just a little note from me..

Sneeze! Just caught a cold, yesterday. So I'm kinda trying to get some rest. Although I'm pretty free, I've been lazy when it comes to blogging. So today I'm gonna post some stuff in here, to make up for the lack of entries.

Time to blow some candles...

Yep it was my birthday yesterday, I'm 23! Feels the same as any age if you ask me. Topic of the Day is Birthdays.

Part I - The Cake:
Cake, in my opinion, is the most important thing on birthdays. In fact : Cake = Birthday. Even if the food sucked, people always got room for cake. Normally, I'd order a cake from some bakery, but on occasion its fun to get creative in the kitchen. Here are some recipe links I compiled from some of my favorite cooking sites, so far I've made the cheesecake, which came out amazing.

Check out the new template!

Yes I finally finished my redesign. It was hard using the tools native to Ubuntu [Gimp] but I finally made it somewhat work out. Got a new logo, and template. Keep in mind, I still plan on editing this more but when I get back to photoshop and illustrator. Meanwhile this will have to do. Watch this space for more...

Sleep Blogging... 0_o

Why is it, the only time I want to blog I'm sleepy?! Anyways damn my insomnia. I got off caffeine for a while, but its still not helping, still have this compelling feeling to stay awake. Maybe its the boredom... well I'll give it some time it'll be okay once I take 24 hours awake, I'll be tired and willing to sleep.









Just thought I'd update everyone on the blog. I know I ain't being loyal to my blogging but I'm just taking some time off to redesign the whole thing, the logo looks a bit on the plain side, want something more fun.

Also the categories need work and the layout too. I got plenty of new shit to throw in here so watch this space for more...

You Can't Escape, You Know

Want to play Portal but your broke? Well you could just wait for the price to go down, but thats no fun. Instead try this flash version, its about the same, minus the fancy graphics but I'm sure its just as addictive.


The concept is the same for both versions, you use the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device [or as I would call it the portal making thingy gun] to solve a series of puzzles by teleporting yourself and other objects.

Portal is out now on PC Xbox360 and will be released on the PS3 on November 23, 2007. Sadly, not on the Wii, well I do hope it does port to the Wii one day!

Damn Double Space Parkers! [Replace the Par with Fuc]

Don't you just hate it when someone parks their car using two spots? This is quite common in Dubai especially on Thursdays or Fridays at crowded places like City Center.
Your looking around for a spot, and you see this one car [usually at big car like a Hummer or Range Rover], whose idiot owner parked using two spaces. Try this please the next time you see anything like this, I know I would! [click the pic to see it in its full glory]

Bad blogger!

It's a sad day when something this good can go so bad... Blogger isn't working out as it used to and I am looking for other options for blogging, so far WordPress is looking inviting, but I'll give this a few days cause I wanna see if its possible to solve the issue first.

The problem as some of you may see is the updating of posts and new posts don't appear on my regular blog page, as it should. I need to add a ? at the end to make the new template and etc. appear, which defeats the purpose of easy blogging, cause now I need to update all my link and add that freaking question mark!!!! I'll be patient, Blogger, but your time is running out...

**Update: well looky here, just when I thought I was going to have to switch this blog started behaving itself. Lemme do some more tests...
