About Time!!!

I bet before you even read the rest of this post you can guess I got my pc back. It's not much of the same old one I had. Initially I had plans for using the undamaged parts of my pc with a new motherboard, graphics card and RAM, but ended up getting an entirely new system.

I took some pics [I'm like a proud mom!] of it along with my two monitors hooked up. I like the idea of using more then 1 monitor, like hard drive space, I can never have enough desktop space.

Don't mind the lack of customization, it the initial pics! I switched up later! The formation is a little messed up, blogger is sometimes unpredictable at times with the uploads of the pics, I need to find a photo album thing for my blog. Will do tomorrow, right now I'm too tired...

Update - Monday April 9 2007

It's been some time since I last posted. Since the pc is still in the process of getting upgraded, I have only the office pc to use. Here are some updates on whats going on:

• PC Issues: Not sure when exactly my pc will be back, but I'm hoping it'll be within this week or at the most nextweek. Its not really in my hands cause its with my brother who is getting the parts, so he's taking his own sweet time with it. Gonna kick his ass one of these days.
• Planning a getaway: Been thinking this for the past 6 months. If you know me or read my last few poems I've been going through a depressing phase, have that sometimes; So finally thought it was time I get out of here for a bit get away from this shit hole and have some fun. I'm thinking 3-4 months, in the UK with my sister, I'll update on that later when I got more information. Planned for May.
• Reading: Trying to read all the books in my library. Got so many I acquired over years of borrowing and being given books, they just piled on. I can't help it if I haven't read them all, some just don't fit the mood I'm in. Currently reading C.S. Lewis's "A Grief Observed", a sad book of entries which he wrote during the phase when his wife died. Been avoiding the book for over a year since I got it, but thought might as well read it. Also plan on getting some new books, so I can kill more time after I get bored with the current ones I own: *World War Z: an oral history of the zombie war by Max Brooks * The astonishing life of Octavian Nothing, traitor to the nation, Vol I : The Pox Party by M.T. Anderson *The Last Town on Earth by Thomas Mullen *The Brief history of the dead by Kevin Brockmeier. Three out of the four books are bout zombies so I suppose I'm planning on going through the zombie reading phase.
