Recently, since I started researching on furniture and styles for my living room/ hall renovation, I've been checking out some sites on DIY [and other crafts] and came across some cool sites which are cool to check out whether you digg DIY or your just bored.
Ikea Hacker - Ikea as everyone who knows, is a cool shop for furniture. The only problem, in my opinion, is that its not unique enough, everyone has the same Lack Table or the RAM frames. So what do you do to stand out from the rest of the pack? Start hacking!
I've done atleast two hacks [which I will post pictures of later] involving some lights and another which isn't much of a hack, more like taking a CD storage unit which is vertical and removing the shelves and making it horizontal [I know I'm mad].

Instructables - Another cool site but not limited to furniture. You can find steps and how tos on various projects like how to make a LED lamp or a coffee table or print Tee shirts using wax paper, etc etc.
