Blink

Dissolve these bones,
which have no use,
For I am alone, I am homeless,
I'm the one who is refused.

Shallow questions need no answers,
No one wants this, so they ignore,
Hidden under the dirt,
Lie secret doors.

So, I draw the clues,
I draw the red line,
Hoping for a wiseman or a fool,
To see not all is fine.

More stuff to kill time

Found this on Fanpop, while finding stuff to watch. Its a PG 13 parody of 300, which btw is an amazing movie, which everyone, regardless of how quisy you are with violence and gore, must see.

Another fun site to kill time at is the 30 sec bunny theatre @ angryalien.com. Also check out the videos @ howitshould've ended.com, the following link is my favourite one from the site, which according to the site, how LOTR should've ended. **you will need to download the divX online player for the site, other wise follow this alternative link if you don't want to do that.**

Lamest super heroes of all time

Found this @ popcultureaddict.com, its a top 10 list of the most lamest superheroes of all time. Super pets, that might be thought of as cool if I was 5.

Update

Just a heads up, my pc crashed day before yesterday [processor overheated], so you might not see any posts anytime soon, unless I'm bored at work. Also I will be finishing work this week so I might not have access to my pc until I fix everything [God knows how long that'll take].

I'm planning on upgrading most of my pc, so I'll probably get a new processor, mother board, and a graphics card [hopefully an ATI X1600 PCI one, or perhaps the X1800, ofcourse I will get adequate cooling for either]. This will take a strain on my budget, but hopefully everything will be worth it.

If I'm near a free wifi hotspot, I might update or post through there, so just watch this space for more updates.

Kick ass marketing strategy

I saw this on thecoolhunter.net, another site you must check out if you like design, and other cool gadgetry. For more info on the concept below, heres a direct link to the post.

My toes look like cheetos....

And my feet look like they belong to an Oompa Loompa! Yeh I was experimenting again, bored day before yesterday, even though I'm supposed to be in bed dreaming.

So I decided to test out my Lancome Self tanner, I sprayed it all on my legs and on my feet, spread it out with my hands, and then went and washed the hands. I woke up 2 hours later with orange palms! I thought Screw it, and went to work. Later when I got back home and removed my socks, I found my feet were a deeper shade of orange.

So now when you see me wearing the closed shoes instead of sandals you know why. The hands are normal now, but I'm still waiting for this crap to fade. Please don't over do it with selftanner, you could end up looking like this:

Charlie The unicorn, some funny shit

Check out this funny video I found running around on YouTube:

Be afraid...be very afraid...

Yeh, cigarettes can be scary, especially when your addicted. I don't smoke, isn't my kinda thing. I'm not gonna bitch much bout smoking being bad, cause everyone knows it and shit. Check out The Art of Quiting, its pretty cool site with photos submitted by people who quit and aspire to. That pic on the left is one of the submissions.

The truth.com has alot of information on smoking as well. The site got games and videos, which will hopefully inspire some people to kick the habit.

Still not convinced? Well then just give up and buy this awesome match lighter from Dwell.

R.I.P. Stinky

Well it happened. I kinda saw this coming, my poor cat Stinky just died. I have no clue why, but it was probably due to hunger, as he had stopped eating. I tried my best to feed him, but to no avail. Atleast he's not suffering any more. Heres a pic of him with his brothers, Blackey[the black one] and Oscar [the orange one].

Cool Time pieces

I found this watch on one of the design blogs I was checking out, I saved the article in my Google Notes, but forgot to mention the link to the design blog. Anyways, I Googled "Cool watches" and the main site for this watch came up and it had alot more cool watches. Its enough to make me watch to take off my watch, and that is a hard thing to do as I'm loyal to my Rado watch, which I inherited.

Tokyo Flash Japan has alot of unique watches, including these:

The Mugen by Futura

Pleasure Seeker by Pimp

Barcode SS by Tokyo Time Evolution

Automatic Blogging machine

These little guys look alot like those cute QRIOs robots featured in the Beck 'Hell Yes' video. PaPeRo is the robots name, and its task is to converse with the user, bout anything, and the system records and analyzes the info for use in blogs. It finds additional stuff [pictures and videos, etc.] to make the blog post more interesting and adds it.

The Robot is devolped by NEC, a company which used to make alot of phones, but now adays is making computers and other stuff. I wonder how the blog post done by the robot will be, if its any good, I wouldn't mind having one, besides its pretty cute! For more Info, check out the following links:

silly event of the day

Well besides the poem I just wrote, something else funny happened today. Usually I just tell these happening to friends and other close people, but might as well blog bout funny shit.

It was around 5 pm, just watched the Black Donnellys, and now feeling kind of thirsty. Normally at 5 I have a cup of tea, so I set out to make a cup for me and my bro. I fill the pot with water, add the tea leaves and the sugar, and set it upon the stove to boil. I go bout doing other things while it cooks. I get into a conversation with my brother, then go to my cousins room and talk with her a bit, watch some tv for 30 mins or so. Then when I'm passing the hall, I smell something burning. I thought at first shit it must be the iron, cause I just ironned some cash [don't ask - I'm mad and its just one of the crazy things I do]. I check and I see I'm mistaken. So I open the hall/kitchen door and smoke just starts pouring out through the sides.

At this point I'm thinking shit! Not again! Normally this happens but this time it was a bit too much; I left the tea on the stove and forgot bout it. I entered the kitchen, which was from half way up from the room til the ceiling was a cloud of grey smoke. I couldn't stop laughing. Anyways, I turned off the stove, and the pot was black, the tea leaves were glowing like ignited coals. My aunt came in and started telling me what an Idiot I am. So I turned on all the vents and disposed of the black pot.

The hall still has a funny smokey smell, hopefully that will pass by tomorrow. As for the pot, I'll probably buy a new one before mom comes back. She will probably laugh at my stupidity.

new poetry

Heres a poem I just wrote a while back, first I written in ages. I think the last time I wrote one was probably in 2001. So here it is, be kind like I said, its been a while..:

untitled #34

thoughts drift beyond
deep into the shadows,
distortion sets in,
revealing all that lie hidden in the hollows

the bitterness seeps out through the cracks,
flowing past sleeping eyes,
forging both mental and physical,
yet killing all that might arise

Joining of two

Its been a while since I blogged in havoksmane.blogspot, so I'm thinking of joining the two as I feel its better to write all crap in one blog rather then 3.

The Tinchilla

It takes about 2 minutes of waiting to turn an amazingly cold coke can to crap in Dubai. If I had this, I would be in heaven. 60 seconds and your can of coke [or whatever for that matter] is at the perfect frosty temperature.

Viral Marketing schemes getting pretty viral...

Seems like alot of viral marketing going on these days. First the Lost Experience, now alot more people seems to be jumping on the bandwagon.

The Lost Experience was an alternative reality game, which had different phases and several made up sites and allows players [fans of Lost], to find out clues and other information. A cool thing bout this is the additional background knowledge of the show and you'll know more bout things like the Dharma Intiative.

Nine Inch Nails, one of my favourite bands of all time, adopted this technique for their new album, Year Zero. Check out the Wiki for this for more info.

Another, ActivatingEvolution.org, which is a viral website, which any Heroes fan would recognise, supposedly run by Dr. Suresh Mohinder [a character of the show]. I hope they have Heroes Experience, like Lost had in between seasons. That would be awesome! Can't wait for episode 19 to come out!

Getting wiki with it...

Yeh I know the title is corny! Wikipedia is one of my most frequented sites. Sometimes when I'm researching something there I get stuck there for hours, as one thing leads to another, one search term leads to another. It's all fun.

Here are some searches I've done in the last couple of visits:

More websites you can visit when your bored...

Bored? Well don't just sit there pay these sites a visit, if you haven't already!:

So true....

Remember the 80s? Or to be more precise the cartoons of the 80s? I discovered this funny/interesting website yesterday, Cracked.com, which had a funny article on what lessons we learnt from the cartoons from that era. The smurfs connection with communism was especially funny. Read it!
