Bag design

I have this boring bag I got from a friend a long time back, supposedly one of those give away bags, but a plain one. Since I got it, haven't had much use of it, so I thought of adding something to make it worthy of showing off. Took me a while, then I thought, why not embroider it with a design I created before. So I started up photoshop CS 2, found a bag that looked like it in Google Images [since I don't have the bag right here with me], coloured it like how my bag is, then added the design, embroidery styled. The Result is below, along with the original design.

When I got my video Ipod, I wanted to make sure its completely scratch proofed and cool at the same time. So I got gelaskin [ Seismic ' we kill you' ], and another clear cover on top of that and additional to that got a nice brown case from Griffin.

I love my video Ipod, not only do I have all my music on it, I can put all my tv shows and movies on it too, so whenever I'm bored I can catch up on Lost [Don't tell my sister, but I secretly watched all the episodes before she did on my Ipod] or the Black Donnellys, or something else.Check out http://www.gelaskins.com/ for more info.

Sites to see...

Well after the ranting I gave about overhyping, being an oxymoron and mega weirdo, I'm here to build up hype for two sites I think everyone should check out and participate. Both are from the same guy who runs a site I listed previously, the art of quiting.

http://www.makelovetheworldgoround.com/ : The whole idea is to spread the love, and see how far it goes. You just take a photograph [with your digital camera, or whatever] of your computer with the image on the site, and upload it to the site. It's pretty neat seeing everyone else's workspace. Mine is the second last one!

http://www.deletedimages.com/ : Another interesting project, where you simply upload pics that you would normally toss into the recycle bin. Its cool cause normally you would think of the pictures as rejects, but collectively its art. I have yet to contribute, but I'm sure I'll have some soon to add.

Things I'm really getting sick of : (1) Over-hyping

I hate it when things go too far. Sure, I like most Apple products, the i-phone, I'm sure is a really good phone, but why are people dying to get something that a million other people are going to have [Of course you can't completely avoid having someone else owning a similar gadget or product as yourself]. Its like an over hyped Brad Pitt movie, I tend to avoid it til its dead. Also the whole ps3 thing, I wouldn't mind getting one, but I'll probably do so when I think its reasonably priced, I ain't that desperate.

Advantages in waiting, for the hype to die:

1. You can read all the reviews - I like to find out before hand if the product or movie or etc is good and worth the cash I'm spending on it.
2. All the bugs get fixed eventually - Most phones and gaming consoles have issues when they first come out, usually caused by over enthusiastic companies dying to make the release deadline, can't blame them since most people get their torches and pitchforks ready when they hear of delayed releases.
3. Price drop - The title speaks for itself, think of the ps3, well in most places its still obscenely priced for the 60GB model, but wait a couple months and you will not only have a better price, but also bigger & better variety of games released for it.
