I hate it when things go too far. Sure, I like most Apple products, the i-phone, I'm sure is a really good phone, but why are people dying to get something that a million other people are going to have [Of course you can't completely avoid having someone else owning a similar gadget or product as yourself]. Its like an over hyped Brad Pitt movie, I tend to avoid it til its dead. Also the whole ps3 thing, I wouldn't mind getting one, but I'll probably do so when I think its reasonably priced, I ain't that desperate.

Advantages in waiting, for the hype to die:
- You can read all the reviews - I like to find out before hand if the product or movie or etc is good and worth the cash I'm spending on it.
- All the bugs get fixed eventually - Most phones and gaming consoles have issues when they first come out, usually caused by over enthusiastic companies dying to make the release deadline, can't blame them since most people get their torches and pitchforks ready when they hear of delayed releases.
- Price drop - The title speaks for itself, think of the ps3, well in most places its still obscenely priced for the 60GB model, but wait a couple months and you will not only have a better price, but also bigger & better variety of games released for it.
