Feels like I didn't hear my blog alarm.

Well I tend to ignore them if I do hear them, but its been a while since I blogged, not the longest period of time. I haven't put anything up since August. Well here's a summary of things to get everyone on track:

1. Back in Dubai: Can't remember if I mentioned this but I am back and loving it. England was great, but I missed my friends and family here and mainly my computer and room. Trying to get my sleeping habits on track, but since Ramadan began there's hardly a chance to correct it, with all the chores. Can't blame the chores entirely, I like staying up all the way til 10 am, designing stuff. Speaking of which...
2. Started working on my portfolio: Just did a few sample designs and got a great ray trace tool for Sketch up! I love it! See for yourself in the example pictures. The picture on the left is a regular Sketchup rendering and the one on the left is with Vray for Sketchup 6. [p.s. this is my design and its coprighted, But isn't it nice?]

1. I'm planning on upping my 3D design skills: I'm looking into getting more into 3D max and Maya, which I'm pretty much at beginner level. I'll probably take a course.
2. Getting hooked on online shopping: I'm no fan of using credit cards [ with the high interest and the risk of ID theft], so I found a cool way to shop using a recharged card you buy from Aramex called the CASHU card. So I did some more shopping at Amazon today, got the following: *Counterstrike Source: Needed a new copy, can't wait to play! *1000 New Designs: A book on Product Design stuff *The Artist's Way: A book on how to get my creative mojo in working order.  

I can't wait to get them, best part is its priority shipping so it should arrive within a week [est. September 25].

1. Well lemme start back at 1, since I can't get the 5. - I feel like redesigning my room, so I started researching on ideas. I got a basic concept, but need more to make it real. I will make a 3D layout once I  get enough inspiration. Here are some pics of my room as it is now.

 

I will post alot more pics now, and finally! I got Wi-fi! I was without the internet for so long, but now, I finally got it back and its cooler cause I can also surf the internet on my P525. Yay!
